Yea I definately want to see how this is going to be handled on NA. Should be interesting. Still, the idea that any parents could say or do that to their child... ::shudders:: So very sad :(

Alas. One of my best friends is in exactly that situation - her parents are ruining her life and refusing to understand how she could ever possibly love another woman. It's been going on for years and the absolute worst part of it is that there's nothing I can do to help. She's tried everything, and it's breaking the hearts of everyone concerned. ::sigh:: Well, they're getting married next year anyway, and I'm being priestess, so... it still feels awful, you know?
