I'm sorry, I am just delighted by the mental picture of Sev getting a surprise party on his birthday.

The concept of Trelawney and Hooch trying to give him a birthday spanking also rates a hysterical fit all its own. One wonders that Sinistra hasn't weighed in on the subject... or perhaps she chose to wait until later and administer them privately?

Yes, I do know I have utterly no grounds for that base insinuation save my own imagination.

I do note, however, that Lupin's was the only present that Snape did not object to.

sylvia is sinistra's first name. sibyll is trelawney's. therefore, it was sinistra and hooch, sans trelawney.

trelawney probably isn't familiar enough with severus to spank him. *^^*
