Is it wrong of me to want to poke Colin with a pointy stick?
(parent)sistermagpie @ April 6 2003, 16:16:53 UTC |
Only if you're intending to poke him very hard in the right place.
Am busy chuckling over potterstinks' latest. I really could imagine Colin striving to capture Ron's premature ejaculation on film! (Not that Ron would ever do that, I'm sure!)

And yet I note that even in that whole long rant he never once mentioned the H word or the P word. Lots of stuff about Granger and Weasley, but nobody else from Gryffindor.

so it's hardly throwing any salt in my wounds to tell me that people I wish had been wiped out in 1980 dislike me.
dunno. not a direct mention, but that sounds like a reference to me. :D
sistermagpie @ April 6 2003, 17:50:35 UTC |
Yes! Although I read it twice to figure out whether that could apply to all of Gryffindor. Still, very much not saying WHO he's talking about. God, the boy is stubborn.

Hm, I didn't read that as him referencing j_h. 1980 was the year the majority of the class was born and Harry's fight with Voldemort was in 1981. I just thought he meant they should have been wiped out before they were born.

yeah, that's a good point. it's just that Colin specifically referred to *harry's* opinion of draco over and over again in his original post, and historically draco has consistently, repeatedly said he wished potter had died as a child.
man, colin is seriously about to get on my last nerve. ugh.

Colin is consistently irritating, and everything potterstinks said about him is so, so true. But it's such a disappointment to see him stoop to Colin's level, though I guess he's not the most saintly kid even in the best of times. I wouldn't be surprised if just_harry were annoyed as heck with them both.
It just seems that things are back to normal and nothing resolved. Maybe that's as good as could be expected, just like Dean's having to avoid his family is as good as could be expected, under the circumstances. It still seems such a pity though (both). Oh well. Time wounds all heels, they say.
Nice icon, by the way. Though I had to look twice to see eggs and not citrus fruit. Clearly I've been rereading those potterstinks entries too many times.

Colin is damn irritating.
I wonder if we'll see a proper cat fight over Harry in the future? :D

Seems I'm not the only one who wants to slap Colin upside the head.
Whoever's playing that character is brilliant. He/She has everyone up in arms; characters and fans.
Well done.
cuppatea @ April 6 2003, 21:46:08 UTC |
Is there any chance that the person playing Colin has changed? Because there are *no* exclamation points in that last post of his. I've come to depend on the two, three or four exclamation points in each sentence to tell me when our resident shutterbug posts.

Hm. I thought Colin was acting differently because he had just smacked down Malfoy so now he's got all this fake confidence.
