I don't know. I just keep hitting the refresh button. Can't take my eyes off of this.

Oh, god. Susan Bones is so dead.

Seriously, Pansy's cookies did something to them all...Even Hermione seems OOC :O

trowa @ February 12 2004, 21:55:32 UTC

oh-ho! and the truth is revealed. Bones put a Cheering Charm on her.

Hahahaha wow must've been a pretty effective spell! Go Susan!

Well if Pansy's cookies had somethingto cheer people up in them as well...

I think I'm more scared of cheerful Millicent than when she's normal!

I'm wondering if the two charms are feeding off each other... it'll be interesting to see if the charm lasts a long time or has some other odd effect.

Also, is there a period of unhappiness/grouchiness after cheering charms wear off? Somewhat like drugs, or sugar. If they didn't, you'd think that they would be much more popular for everyday use or something.

Fear the wrath of MB...

I fear for everyone when this wears off.

In fact, I'm afraid now. M.B., come back to us! Come back come back!

I am, however, happy to see that she can still keep up with ps in her current state--I shall now always think of him as the ventriloquist's dummy on her massive knee. He's just like a little brother. A little brother who makes badges.

The evil part of me has a number of characters I would like to see Susan work a little magic on...

You know, some of her comebacks to Draco make me wonder if she isn't faking it, just to mess with everyone's head. I also like her new "say my name" icon, where she shows half, rather than a quarter of her face. (see above link.)

sistermagpie @ February 13 2004, 05:26:38 UTC Re:

I don't know...I can certainly see her doing that for fun, but it doesn't seem like she'd do it this way. I mean, telling Hermione she's an inspiration to us all, owling Terry and all that...seems like it would be easy to stick little barbs into all those things if she were faking it. She does it with Draco, but as she said (and I so loved getting this little info) she thinks of him like a little brother, so she can insult him affectionately.

black_dog @ February 13 2004, 13:36:24 UTC Re:

Well, the charm has apparently worn off, and MB is on the rampage, so I must gallantly abandon my position here.

But if your theories aren't getting shot down, you're not trying hard enough!

Is it just me or Draco a little... not so much jealous, but afraid Millie's really gone off with the Hufflepuffs???

Aw. He's such a w00bie <3

I'd agree - and that he's scared for her in general.

Heck, I'm scared for her in general. I'd hate to be made cheerful against my will. *brrr*

Wonder whose idea those cookies were, in the outset. I note that we now have it on good authority that Slytherin is not the house of the cheerful.

Perhaps not, but Snape's white poodle icon comes suspiciously close to levity.
