(no title)

I wasn't planning to post this, because frankly, I despise potterstinks, but since noone else has..

Draco has stopped ignoring his mother.

I admire the player for keeping him so well in character, but I really dislike him. *ducks tomatoes*

Honey, sometimes I feel the same way, especially when there is a wave of love and apologist sympathy for him here (which I can understand since there are many loffy people here who adore potterstinks and his bratty charm and feel bad for him, but... I am not usually one of them).

His player is brilliant, though.

*agrees* I think all the players are brilliant and that's what makes it so addicting. Even smaller roles (Lockhart, Hooch, Goyle, etc.) are perfectly in character and make you love them just as much as the others.

Basically, <3 to all NA players :D

Dude, thank you. (I wanted to, but realized I didn't know how the bob to post and I felt rather foolish.)

*feels that this is important* The questions that he is asking are so very controlled, yet the way that they keep coming makes me think Draco's had them on his mind for some time. Maybe it's just me, but they show a more...um, caring side then we've seen before. His mother's implied apathy earlier bothered him, and while that could have been inferred from his ignoring of her, it's more concrete. Or something.

*babbles*

Squee.

I wonder if Draco will be getting anything for his Mother now for Mother's Day.

Mother's Day isn't Sunday in the UK. :)

Actually, these questions are mostly ones he's asked before or at least brought up in his posts. Even under Veritaseum he got pretty much the same response and the conversation pretty much ended exactly the same way as his last conversation with her in the thread where he outed Harry. He asked why she said he was 14 and she claimed she was under stress. Even under Veritaseum she doesn't answer the "real" question, so he drops it again. (Well, this time he did go a step further in identifying her response as an excuse to make herself look good.)

Incidentally, I really don't think it should matter whether anybody likes a character or not. I obviously love ps as a character but I hope I wouldn't think badly of someone else because they didn't like him. If someone interprets him in a way I disagree with I'll (as everybody probably knows by now and is sick of!) argue with it but I don't think liking a character of disliking him should be all that important. I do get frustrated, I admit, when that kind of interpretation gets classified as apologist because once again it gets into that whole idea of understanding why a character did something being the same as justifying (proving to be right or just) his actions. Sometimes I think his actions are somewhat justified but usually they aren't; that's part of the point of his character to me.

It's true that I do often like ps and feel sorry for him--I would be lying to say otherwise. But I think that's totally separate from understanding his actions.
