It's so hard to keep up with all the little threads- looking back on them today I missed a lot in the insanity last night *laughs*.
Let's not forget Lucius actually garners some sympathy. I think sometimes with Lucius it is easy to forget that 'monsters' are not born, they're made. It really is sad if you think about it- Narcissa and Lucius seem to be aware, deep down, that they haven't been very good parents at all but they don't know how to be any different.

And I think NA might be trying to kill my computer. I had way too many windows open last night to be good for it *laughs*.

Yeah, Lucius' realizing Draco and he seemed to be going the way of Lucius and his own father was pretty touching, especially since Lucius obviously does take an interest in Draco. Draco did, as I recall, post something sort of positive to Lucius, though. Narcissa's going to take a little more time, though...

Hmm, yes he did respond to Lucius here, saying he was glad that Lucius was proud of him for applying for MoM. But I find the fact that Lucius didn't even reply back to him but instead go on about his lack of parenting skills to Arthur a little telling- as much as they might be aware of their problems at this point, it doesn't seem as if they're ready to seriously address them or try to change.
