killing me softly..
Mood: nervous

Well, now Harry has presumably left M.B. and run off to 'Daddy' for a little hot chocolate and late-night talk. 0.0 What can this mean?

(And "Patience, wolf." squee!)

..this D/H anticipation is kiiiilling me..

Seriously. I am going to pull my hair out strand by strand. I want to know what happened.

What did Millicent do to him? Why does Harry sound so melancholy here? He seems a little depressed. What did Millicent do?

We are all assuming that Millicent wanted to discuss the Draco situation, but we don't even know what the Draco situation is. *frustrated growl* This is driving me insane.

I think it could be a good thing he wants to talk to Sirius. Wasn't it Sirius with whom Harry probably first talked about being gay? He may want to seriously ask him about dealing with a homophobic kid.

Of course, it makes me a little nervous knowing how much Sirius hates Draco but I think he'd probably still give him the benefit of his experience with sex anyway. If something slightly sexual happened between himself and Draco Harry may want to talk that over with Sirius and see if he thinks Harry did anything wrong or came on too strong or ask if he knows how Harry could get Draco to come around--or even ask if he thinks Draco's gay, who knows? Sirius has experience with men. Harry may feel he needs the benefit of that now.

(Suddenly I'm picturing, "So how did you get my father into bed, Sirius?")

I guess I had assumed Millicent dragged JH from the library to the infirmary to attempt another reconciliation. And Harry finally went along with it, but it doesn't seem to have gone well. Harry couldn't sleep and seems to have been cranky when Neville came in; Draco is at least out of the infirmary but Millicent seems impatient with him, and she herself also seems a bit subdued. Sounds like Draco was impossible, again.

Oops, meant to post the above as reply to antimodel and the following as response to you. Oh well, it will all come out in the wash.

I totally agree with you take on what he's looking for from Sirius. Especially if the latest attempt at reconciliation went badly. I can see Harry tearing his hair out, asking, "What the hell do men want, anyway?"

One thing that's wonderful about him talking to Sirius is that, canonically, Harry almost never goes to adults for advice about the really important stuff. He has subtly been resisting Remus' offers, I think, for a long time. I think it's an epoch for him that he's gotten close enough to Sirius to turn to him this way, and I think it's also a testimony to how crucial to him, emotionally, his interest in PS has become.

Did anyone else think that it might not have anything to do with Draco at all. Harry never seems to willingly go to anyone for advice on things like that at all, and so it didn't occur to me that he would want to talk to Sirius about that. Probably it was because I had just read the scar pain thread, but I thought it might have something to do with the Death Eater attack or something along those lines.

Hmm, yes I can definitely see Harry going to Sirius about his scar hurting and Voldemort and all.

I didn't think that he was going for lovelife advice, just that he was awake, depressed, and perhaps wanted the comforting company of his father figure.

Remus' latest reply to Harry seems to support the 'scar hurting/subdued Harry' theory. Could this then be what freaked Draco out the other night? Or perhaps they had a bit of a falling out what with Lucius being a DE and all...

One more to chew on.. M.B. seems a bit fed up with Draco in her latest replies: to Pansy, to Terry, and to Draco (who sounds decidedly petulant). Is she just tired of his whinging and drama queening, or is he being stubborn again?

I'm thinking a little of both. Probably coupled with the fact that she was up pretty late talking to Harry. I don't think Millicent has had much of a chance to sleep since the match, especially since she was so focused on being by Draco's side in the hospital wing.

I think that Millicent feels a little at fault for Draco's injury, but I also think that Draco is driving her nuts right now. It seems like he isn't doing what she wants him to do, but she can't really use the physical response option right now because of Draco's injury. So instead she has to try talking some sense into him, and Harry, which is pretty hard as they're both pretty damn stubborn sometimes.

I dunno... Draco said he didn't ask her to do anything and everyone says he's been quiet so I don't think he's been whining. He doesn't really lie about being a drama queen ^_^
