It's the newset fad!

So Mandy had posted and she and Seamus seems to be um, bonding, or something. Is there some backstory for them being friends anywhere? I can't really remember them talking recently.

And my favorite part? Seamus is shipping our favorite pairing XD

is livejournal sucking right now for anyone else? I keep getting errors and the pages are loading reeaaally slow

That was so squee!

It refuses to show me my own comments/recent posts.

It's doing the same thing to me, but I have a free account. :\

And Mandy also seems to have gotten some new icons for this convo. Very Juia Stiles.

This one says "lotus." Is that significant? Wasn't one of the Miggs characters named Lotus? Or did she have it already?

I remember that one is old. She had it before. Probably after the flowers in the background. I dunno if the name got added, though my suspicious is no.

She's been sporting the Julia Stiles for a while. And sporting those other icons for at least since two days ago when I was browsing through the icons, and probably before.

I guess Seamus is seeking friendship with people who are not Dean or Draco, given the argument between Seamus and Dean.

Especially with his interaction with Hanna as well... (http://www.livejournal.com/users/hannahabbott/3778.html?thread=17858#t17858)

Er, that is, Hannah.

I reckon he seeks friendship with those who are not from Griffindor.

Interesting that with Seamus back being sociable, he isn't reaching out at all to his "new friend" PS. Lots of plausible reasons why this might be, but it's still worth noting.

Is it that he never meant the friendship seriously in the first place, that it was just for Harry's sake? Yet he really seemed charmed by PS, they really seemed to have clicked. Is it about Dean -- is Seamus eager enough to reconcile that he's willing to cut PS off? Yet Seamus seems least likely right now to make compromises to put things back together with Dean. Did he hurt and offend PS with some of the things he said about their "not being friends," so that now PS won't talk to him? Or is it just too early, Seamus is just beginning to get over his depression and is reaching out first to his oldest friends?

It just strikes me as interesting that the Seamus/PS connection, which caused so much trouble and really seemed to have something to it, seems dead right now. It will be fun to see if things pick up as Seamus gets back to himself again.

I reckon his friendship was at least partly for Harry. Do you remember the mod's official statemet: S is for Seamus, who is a better friend to Harry than most think.

for me it's really weird that there's no more Seamus/Draco. Yes PS has other troubles these days but they did seem to get along quite well...

(parent)

dragynville @ June 18 2003, 02:56:44 UTC

They all seem to be avoiding the sticking points that caused so much trouble. Partly busy with studying.. partly sticking to safe, non-inflammatory friendships? 'Cause I also haven't noticed any Dean and Terry interaction lately either.

dry_your_eyes @ June 18 2003, 03:41:00 UTC Re:

they must have learned that exposing their interactions in their ljs is risky.
Hopefully PS won't do that.
He's posted about his fight with Harry.
*pictures it in her head*
i wish I could draw...

and OMG - vegetarian cat??!!

(parent)

dragynville @ June 18 2003, 04:07:33 UTC

1. Could be.
2. I doubt he would, he's rather extroverted.
3. Ron's suggesting that Draco made the story up. (Or at least part of it.)

vegetarian cat? That's just weird! :D

(parent)

dry_your_eyes @ June 18 2003, 04:20:45 UTC

Draco answers and I realize he WANTS everyone to know something about that story. There must be something else about that incident...

dragynville @ June 18 2003, 04:25:44 UTC

I still think it's an innuendo for something else (part of it at least). He's far too smugly satisfied in that paragraph for it to have been a fight. He's almost giddy.

(parent)

dry_your_eyes @ June 18 2003, 04:30:17 UTC

definitely an innuendo. Harry's comments should clear it up

(parent)

dragynville @ June 18 2003, 04:34:24 UTC

Unless he's too busy blushing madly. ^^

Oh, it's innuendo, all right.

Soft spot is back of the skull, IIRC. Which to me says PS has hands on his robe or chest and pushes him against the wall.

I am thinking in that position there is not much personal space between them.

Anyone taking bets that Draco has figured out a different strategy to intimidate Harry?

(parent)

dragynville @ June 18 2003, 04:54:50 UTC

Draco, the big bad seme! :D ..lurve..

what's IIRC ??

(parent)

shusu @ June 18 2003, 05:06:55 UTC mmm seme

IIRC = if I remember correctly
(for the rest of you, seme = top. yes, that kind of top. and there are two syllables.)

Well it certainly gives Draco some power over the situation. He doesn't have to admit that there's latent attraction, but hey, Potter admitted his and PS might as well take advantage of it in his usual way.... blushing = never winning at roughhousing.

That's my theory, anyway. PS is still wading in Denial.

They're not always on the top of the head (though usually). My cousin's first baby's was on his forehead, in the shape of a diamond. XD

Hmmm. Is there anything in the post that says Harry remained standing the whole time? If it's on the top of his head, and Draco touched it, maybe Harry was on his knees at some point?

(Is falling asleep. Will go now, probably)
