Lessons have been inexplicably cancelled for a week, and there's much hinting of DeathEater activity in Narcissa's post... Hmm.

Narcissa really confuses me,she dos'nt seem evil yet she's obviously following her husband which is completally different from her rebellious behaviour six months ago.
Something is defentially up with her.

I have no idea what to make of Narcissa either. So, Vortimax died shortly after the Malfoys dined with him and his wife. (If the funeral was today, he must have died a day or two ago.) IIRC, when Narcissa's dear friend Kiki Leavenshire died, Narcissa had just visited her that morning.

*cancels dinner plans with the Malfoys*

Maybe Lucius in some way informed her of these upcoming murders/deaths, knowing that unless she began acting like the poster Death Eater wife again, she'd be on the list. She could be posting about the funerals as a veiled attempt to get someone (Lupin?) to notice and perhaps offer to help.

That does make sense, maybe he threataned Draco? his the only thing in the world Narcissa truly loves.

Despite his parents political alliances, I must applaud Draco's fashion sense (who doesn't?) Burgundy is certainly superior to puce; however, isn't burgundy slightly Griffindor-esque?? There's really not THAT much difference between burgundy and maroon. At least, to the untrained eye ;)
